Next Saturday evening, 12th January 2019, Louise Dearman, Richard and I will be repeating our Couple of Swells programme at The Festival Theatre in Chichester with the mighty BBC Concert Orchestra. This performance is being recorded for a future ‘Friday Night Is Music Night’ broadcast. It will be a joy to once again sing this programme with Louise and the orchestra, and both Richard and I are looking forward to it very much. We all travelled to Austria and Germany last summer to perform it at two prestigious music festivals.
Couple of Swells will be the sixth complete programme to be played as a Friday Night Is Music Night broadcast, and Richard and I are extremely proud and grateful to maintain our relationship with this irrepressible BBC Radio 2 institution.
