This month, GRB Concerts celebrates10 years of operation. Our first concert was on Valentines Day, 2012 – What the World Needs Now…The Music of Burt Bacharach, at Cadogan Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. We continue to provide orchestras with programmes with a difference – our new Streisand concert premieres in April, and we have a very different programme planned for next year, already booked by various orchestras.
Huge thanks to all the singers and musicians who have provided GRB with such talent over the last decade, as well as the conductors who have stepped in when Richard wasn’t available. I’ve somehow managed to not miss a single concert, and long may it continue.
Special thanks to Ian Maclay, and the RPO who were such keen supporters in the early days, and with whom we have recorded two of our programmes for CD release. Looking forward to the next 10 years! GB
